We have been dealing in grains, seeds, pulses, products for human consumption, animal foods, and by-products for over 200 years. Arising from a merger between different companies, we have strong roots in the international pet food business and our products are sold throughout the world.
Our factory has ultra-modern production and storage facilities for processing and cleaning raw materials, and for the production of various pet foods. We are continuously developing and renewing our facilities in order to meet the changing, specific needs of our customers in a fast and flexible way. This includes, for example, the Quality Assurance which supports our unique high pressure vermin treatment. Our factory is capable of producing 100,000 tons of finished products per year. Half of the products we produce are sold under our own brands while the other half are sold under private labels.
Distribution and logisticsDKSH is the leading distributor in the Netherlands for pet food, bedding, and cat litter in the non-grocery channel. Our numeric distribution is 88% of outlets and the weighted distribution amounts to no less than 98% in the pet specialty channel. Our 22,000 sqm state-of-the-art distribution center with space for 25,000 pallets cater for the warehousing and distribution services provided for our 62 brands and about 4,000 different products (own brands, private labels, and branded products from business partners).
Marketing and salesOur dedicated team of marketers and sales force can offer tailor-made solutions. From designing assortments, composition and assisting in packaging choice for private labels, up to all round category management, shelf planning, merchandising, and of course brand management.
