Raw materials for food industry
Food Raw Materials carries a wide range of products designed to supply and service the customer. In this market the multinational producers of consumer goods are supplied by the global producers/exporters. DKSH Netherlands fulfils the role of service oriented stock keeper/supplier delivering to the midsize/smaller producers. This is a smaller but significant size of the market.
All the products are purchased with the greatest care for quality and stored separately from feed ingredients to prevent any risk of contamination. FRM delivers high quality, if needed cleaned raw materials from fully dedicated warehouses. The spices and herbs unit is now a dedicated section. It has been expanded to meet the customers’ quality requirements and to deepen the sourcing possibilities. DKSH has biological and organic products in its portfolio.

Raw materials for pet food industry
Pet food Raw Materials mainly focuses on bird feed and rodent feed ingredients. PFRM has two sections, a birdfeed and pigeon feed section. Pigeon feed is a highly competitive market with a seasonal influence. Despite Europe’s shrinking market for pigeon feed, DKSH Netherlands’ market share is still growing. The country of origin of the delivered products strongly depends on availability of crops and thus weather conditions. Due to the volatility of the market and the stricter policy of banks towards credit lines, the role of importer/stock keeper is getting more important. BIF and PIF deliver raw materials and bulk mixes to local European producers and export products worldwide.
