The focus on quality, flexibility, and reliability of delivery has added to a strong relationship with our customers. DKSH Netherlands sources from approved (strategic) suppliers and has quality systems in place: DKSH Netherlands is HACCP, GMP, and SKAL certified.

We offer the following manufacturing services:

Manufacturing and packaging

• Our factory has modern production and storage facilities for processing and cleaning raw materials, and for the production of various pet foods. We are continuously developing and renewing our facilities in order to meet the changing, specific needs of our customers in a fast and flexible way. This includes, for example, the Quality Assurance which supports our unique high pressure vermin treatment. Our factory is capable of producing 100,000 tons of finished products per year. Half of the products we produce are sold under our own brands while the other half are sold under private labels.

• We produce products for own brands, private labels and in neutral packaging

• Our mixtures are targeted at birds, pigeons, rodents, ferrets, poultry and ornamental birds

• Our products include egg food, rearing and conditioning food, fortified products and winter products

Quality

DKSH Netherlands supplies products and services of the highest possible quality for our customers and suppliers. Important factors are product quality and process quality.

To guarantee our quality, we employ professionals with extensive experience in the fields of purchasing high-quality ingredients, production, logistics, and nutritional requirements of pets.

Our staff is supported by a quality system that has been approved and certified in accordance with the most stringent European standards:

• H.A.C.C.P. (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) for the production activities

• GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) for global trading activities

• Skal for the trade in and import of biological/ecological products

• Skal for the commercial treatment of (biological/ecological) products against vermin

Extending the shelf-life of commodities with unique high pressure treatment

Over the last 10 years, our company has developed a unique process for the ecological and biological treatment of vermin, using a combination of CO² and high pressure. No pesticides or other undesirable chemical components are used in this process.

The CO² high pressure treatment is a suitable alternative for treatment with chemical substances like Methylbromide, which has been prohibited in Europe since 2005.
We are capable of dealing with bulk products as well as packed products and products on pallets.

Within four hours the goods are free of vermin!

Compared to the conventional methods our competitors use, which require between 7-9 days, this is a very fast and therefore financially rewarding method for our customers.
